Sunrunner
Sunrunner has been described as a very diverse old school metal/progressive rock band. Their sound delves slightly into the worlds of jazz, world/ethnic, and sometimes even of classical music. Although some of the music is dark and heavy, there is a balance of positive energy keeping the scales somewhat even. There are many guests involved who bring to the table a plethora of strange instruments but some tunes keep the simple rock structure of guitar, bass, drums and vocals. Lyrically, the band searches for truth and inspiration through nature, the universe, multiple philosophies, mythologies of ancient cultures, history, and the current states of being.
